We visit a good number of our events with our Photon Bricks LEGO interferometry kits. When we attend these activities we have three main aims:
- To inspire future scientists by providing an accessible route to understand optics and interferometry
- To promote the Photon Bricks loan scheme, passing on information to students and teachers about how they can access the service
- To let people know about Gravity Laboratory and everything that we do at the University!
Recently we have attended events at Nottingham Central Library, South Cheshire College and even the UK Parliament! Upcoming engagements include at the Royal Institution's Quantum Schools event and in summer 2026 we are looking forward to attending Chamboree 26 - an international scouting event being held in Cheshire.
